About Chuck Olson Chevrolet
Chuck Olson's father owned a small used car lot in Portland Oregon after a career as a logger.
After graduating from the University of Oregon and a hitch in the United States Army Chuck worked on a "temporary" basis for his dad, who owned a small used car lot. Chuck found the car business to his liking and decided it would be a great way to feed his growing family. Chuck eventually bought a Rambler Dealership in the Portland area.
Sensing opportunity in the Seattle area, in 1964 Chuck built Olson Oldsmobile at 175th & Aurora Avenue in unincorporated North King County. Back in those days there was not much in the area except Parkers Road house and trees.
The local Chevrolet franchise owned by Bill Blume was available for sale in 1968. Chuck liked the volume potential of Chevrolet and bought the franchise. The Kia franchise was added in 1998.
